Due to recent attacks on Aikiwiki by spammers, as of today I am now enforcing a rule that a user must be logged in in order to edit or create a page. There is no other impact and all spam has been deleted.

I've been working on categorizing and updating most of the articles. Things are coming along. The next major project is to port over some of the documentation from Wikipedia so that new editors who aren't familiar with the WP model can contribute.

MediaWiki has been updated to the latest and greatest version, while not a lot of activity has been going on here over the past several months, it is my intention to continue to flesh out the initial stubs over the next while and hopefully this will lead to an official launch sometime in the next few months.

The site is up and running, now working on rounding out the basic content prior to publicizing it. We need to complete the basic documentation and policy so that new editors will have somewhere to start.

The new and improved (MediaWiki 1.3 based) site is now up and running. Data migration to begin tonight.
This project has had a bit of a patchy start because there are better things to do than sit in front of a computer writing about things you don't know anything about! Especially when you could be practicing Aikido instead of writing about it. Hopefully things will be changing now that the migration to the new server is complete.
